G-FORCE ZF eBike Review – A Stylish Moped Style Electric Bicycle

We’ve moved! Check out our FULL article here. Summary below.

The G-FORCE ZF is a full-suspension step-through eBike with a moped-like appearance due to its long saddle, alloy rims, and bright headlight. The bike is known for its comfortable ride, with the PAS (Pedal Assist System) levels feeling good and excellent rear suspension that doesn’t easily bottom out. It features a large battery and is reasonably priced. The bike has alloy rims and 20×4-inch knobby tires, making it visually appealing.

The G-FORCE ZF incorporates hydraulic suspension in the front and coil suspension in the rear, providing a plush and comfortable ride. Unlike many budget eBikes, the front suspension doesn’t bottom out easily.

The bike features Ronglun two-piston hydraulic brakes with 160mm brake discs, offering great stopping power. However, it could benefit from larger, 180mm brake discs for improved braking performance.

The headlight on the ZF is impressively bright, although the exact lumens aren’t specified. It has a unique design with LEDs around the edge and a metal cage, securely mounted.

The bike features a color display, which is a positive aspect, but it has some navigational limitations. The ZF is available with two battery sizes, 13.5Ah and 20Ah, with the larger battery being a worthwhile option.

On the downside, there are some issues, including chunky welds, throttle delay, difficulty turning off cruise control, and the rear light not functioning as a brake light. The bike also uses a Shimano Tourney Derailleur, which is on the lower end.

Additionally, the G-FORCE ZF comes with plastic fenders, and the color display’s controls are not as intuitive as desired. Overall, it’s a comfortable and moped-like eBike with its own unique appeal, ideal for riders seeking long, comfortable rides with a distinctive look.
